A good turn out of Helsby runners completed the first Border League race of the season. The race was run on a one lap course of just under 6 miles. Most of the course was on the road with a small section of rough track between the fourth and fifth miles. This section had the added interest of 3 small cobbled bridges which required care to avoid tripping.
The race finished on the playing field next to the Cheshire View Masonic Lodge the start and finish point for the race.
