Rules and prize eligibility
The rules this year are slightly different to last year:
- For road, it will be 5 races with the best 3 to count to be able to win your category. For trail, it will be 3 races and best 2 to count.
- You must run in at least 2 races to be eligible to win a prize.
- To become overall club champion, you will need to have taken part in at least 1 race from each category, road, fell, trail, borders and XC (once the fixtures are released for later this year).
- Scores will be published throughout the season and the scoring system is set to reward those that turn up so you can win category prizes without winning any races.
- 2nd claim members are advised to run in a Helsby vest for road, fell and trail races wherever possible. We may also need to be notified if you have ran in a race as sometimes it’s hard to spot from the results. For borders league races it’s a must and unfortunately you won’t count in any of the XC races as you cannot race as a 2nd claim member.
