Other Sandstone Trail information:

Deeside Orienteering Club Sandstone Trail Races. These 11 and 17-mile races take place in early October, following part of the Sandstone Trail northwards to finish in Delamere Forest. They are well-organised, popular and fill up well in advance.

Sandstone 10k Run. This is a 10k race in early April from Beeston Market that follows the Sandstone Trail for part of its route. Profits go to the NSPCC. This is a good one too!

Cheshire West and Chester Council. The council supports the Sandstone Trail. Download a brief walkers’ guide from their website (describing the route in the opposite direction to the Challenge).
