  2. Decide if you want a souvenir race running top (choose your size and order on the Fabian site).

  4. Any questions, use this email address (preferred). But please try and answer your own question if you can many queries are pretty routine and you might get a quicker answer by reading the website. Not that we don't want to help you understand!

You can download the full 2014 race booklet here [PDF, 579KB] with updated map for the 2012 minor route change at Dunham-on-the-hill. Lots of interesting stuff about the race and all your queries answered!

Race map and parking

Detailed information on race parking is in this PDF download. There's an updated race route map including the slight deviation from the previous course at Dunham (new in 2012) here. If you know the old course and want to recce the change, it's very similar and just stays on the A56 for an extra short stretch before taking the next left at the Dunham Arms.

Race running tops

You can still order a race souvenir technical running shirt even if you've already entered. Use the Adhoc Payment feature at www.fabian4.co.uk/adhoc/payment.aspx. Select the correct event there, specify the size of each top (S, M, L or XL), and pay £10 per top. These shirts are made for us by More Miles, we like 'em! T-shirts are collected on race day from race HQ, where we also have stock for sale. Come early to avoid the queue and get ready for your race!

Your email

Please be careful adding your email to your entry it is our primary way of contacting you with any late-breaking news. You'll receive race information, your number and chip in the post early in the New Year. We'll also send details on your technical running top, if you ordered one.

Important! :: transfers and cancellations

  1. We get significant numbers of no-shows on the day.
  2. We have people desperate to snap up spare places.
  3. If you're injured, busy or otherwise can't do the race please, please release your place.
  4. To cancel your entry, please contact support@fabian4.co.uk by 17 December.
  5. To transfer, use View/Amend Entry at www.fabian4.co.uk/competitor/viewentry.aspx (before 15th January). You'll need access to the email you used to register. If you're unable to amend the club or DOB fields (available in December) email support@fabian4.co.uk with your change.
  6. We do not operate a waiting list. Sorry, neither Helsby nor Fabian can get you a short-cut to a place. Keep checking the website or find a friend who will transfer (by 15th January). Cancellations are released as they become available.
